With over a decade of experience building websites for non-profits, arts organizations, architects, designers, educators startups and small businesses, we focus on creating websites that allow you to easily manage and maintain a beautiful and functional presence on the web.
Approach
Our approach starts with listening to your needs and acting accordingly. No two clients are the same so we stay flexible and are ready to do what is needed to make every project a success. We believe that clear communication is the cornerstone of every partnership.
Working with Alex was great! He totally got what we were going for right away and came through with some smart new ideas that made a huge difference. Since I'm not familiar with web design and often needed to see the changes to understand them, I really valued how flexible he was—he was always ready to pivot the design as needed. Plus, he was super quick to respond. It felt like a true collaborative team-up from start to finish.
Background
Alex started as a developer at Cast Iron Coding where he helped build sites for clients like national non-profits and major universities, and then trained and supported their staff on how to use them. Then, as the Web Editor and Electronic Communications Manager at UC Berkeley’s BAMPFA, he worked internally across departments to achieve BAMPFA'S strategic and technical communications goals, building and running the website, signage and email marketing programs. Now, he runs Inlet Studio and spends time his free playing basketball and painting birds.
